Lynn Schubert is an accomplished flutist who has mastered modern and baroque flutes throughout her distinguished career. As a versatile performer, she has served as principal flute with the Baroque Orchestra of the Early Music Academy of Los Angeles and held the second flute and piccolo position with the San Diego Chamber Orchestra. Her extensive orchestral experience includes performances with opera and ballet companies, the San Diego Symphony, and numerous recording sessions in Los Angeles' studio circuit.

A dedicated educator, Ms. Schubert has shared her expertise through faculty positions at prestigious institutions, including UCLA, San Diego State University, and the University of Southern Mississippi. Her commitment to performance excellence continues through her membership in the International Flute Orchestra, where she has participated in multiple international tours. As a sought-after musician, she regularly appears as a soloist and chamber performer, enriching the musical landscape through her artistry on modern and period instruments.

Most recently, Ms. Schubert has expanded her teaching practice to include private coaching for young musicians in the  La Jolla area. Through her newly established flute studio near the UCSD campus, she welcomes students of all ages and proficiency levels, offering modern and baroque flute instruction. Her inclusive teaching philosophy embraces everyone from beginners to advanced players, fostering a supportive musical growth and development environment.
